Local_Traffic_Band

Formed in the Summer of 2002, local traffic combines the songs you love – and will love – while giving them a unique sound and spin. Originally a 4-piece rock band, local traffic played every venue in the area – from the Gilroy Garlic Festival, and the Catalyst in Santa Cruz, to the San Jose Rock 'n' Roll 1/2 Marathon – until the two founders decided to focus on their two favorite instruments…the ukulele and double bass. As a duo, local traffic has performed at many private events, corporate events, and weddings.  Over the years, public appearances included places like O'Flaherty's Irish Pub in Downtown San Jose, Santana Row, and since 2010, weekly at Capers in Campbell. Whether it's Van Morrison, Train, Bruno Mars, The Beatles, or Steppenwolf…we love to play music and hope you like what you'll hear!

The Fabulous Cruisetones: Friday, October 30th @ 7pm

cruisetones

The CruiseTones are a versatile, talented group of performers that can lay back & groove things early, then kick it up when it’s time to get the party rolling. Made up of some the Bay Area’s best musicians this group is comfortable playing many musical styles and are indeed, the CruiseTones. Check them out.

Otilia Donaire & the Back Alley Boys: Saturday, October 31st @ 7pm

Otilia_Donaire

Singer, Otilia Donaire burst onto the California music scene in 2009, and has been tantalizing Bay Area audiences ever since. Otilia's powerful and gritty vocal style (reminiscent of rock and blues icons Janis Joplin and Koko Taylor) sings with raw depth and emotion, and has the adaptability to equally transition from a power driven rock song to a sultry, blues ballad in making her a crowd favorite. She is an exceptionally dynamic and versatile performer, who is as comfortable belting out hard core, down home blues standards as she is taking on vintage rock and soul classics.

Mikey Day Solo: Sunday, November 1st @ 1pm

James Mikey Day is a musician in the SF Bay Area specializing in Piano, Recording and Music Production. He currently travels the US for Roland Music Company.

Pearl Alley has opened for the likes of Lydia Pense & Cold Blood, James Hunter & Canned Heat. Pearl Alley played throughout Santa Cruz, including Moe's Alley, Fog Bank and Seabright Brewery, for nearly 10 years until transitioning their "headquarters" to San Jose in 2011. They are now actively gigging in the Silicon Valley area.

Suzanne St. John sings with the power, rawness and presence of Janis Joplin. She was baptized into the blues in the late 90s, singing with Archie Lee Hooker in the Bay Area.

A dedicated guitarist since age thirteen, and music major in college, Dave's main passion in life has always been music, and hard-hitting blues was his calling.

With blues veterans Dennis Dove on drums, Doug Mancini on bass and Dave Pierce on keys, the band is a tight, smokin' and entertaining quintet... it's Black Crowes meets Janis Joplin.

This collaboration has produced a debut cd with ten of their original tunes (available at cd baby), and they continue to write original blues. This CD was recorded, mixed, and produced by Dave, and many of the tracks were recorded at Dave and Suzanne's home studio.

Diminished Blue: Sunday October 25th @ 1pm
