San Pedro Square Market Special Events: Join SPSM on Sunday, December 13th, 2015 from 11:00am - 4:00pm for our last Beer Bash of 2015 and we are hosting Ballast Point Brewing & Spirits for the ultimate takeover featuring not only their awesome brews but their amazing spirits as well!

This Beer Bash will feature over 20 of Ballast Point's brews throughout San Pedro Square Market including for the first time ever dueling casks!

The Garage Bar will be filling their shelves with the finest Ballast Point spirits for a custom Bloody Mary Bar featuring their homemade mix and a variety of specialty cocktails!

Dueling Casks!  We’ll be featuring Victory at Sea Oreo Cask (Imperial Porter brewed with Oreo Cookies) & Victory at Sea Samoa Cask (Imperial Porter brewed with Samoa Girl Scout Cookies).  Guest will be able to vote for their favorite casks by placing a monetary donation in the bucket of their choice, all proceeds will be donated to the Salvation Army.
 
We will also be pouring The Commodore and American Stout and Longfin Lager.

He is also featured in “Pele Voodoo Live!: A Rockumentary”, the new Annie Steinhardt book based on life on the road with popular Santa Cruz all-women world beat band Pele Juju.

“Given To Fly” is a native San Jose band that delves into the history of Rock n roll, Soul, and R n' B.

Performing a wide variety of classic tunes from the late 60’s up to the current hits of today. Harmonies backed by two guitars, bass, and Drums set the groove as the group takes you on a journey with songs from the likes of The Doobie Brothers and Michael Jackson to The Black Keyes and beyond. The setlist is comprised of unmistakably iconic tunes, unstoppable medleys, and is executed with amazing musicianship.

Formed in the Summer of 2002, local traffic combines the songs you love – and will love – while giving them a unique sound and spin. Originally a 4-piece rock band, local traffic played every venue in the area – from the Gilroy Garlic Festival, and the Catalyst in Santa Cruz, to the San Jose Rock 'n' Roll 1/2 Marathon – until the two founders decided to focus on their two favorite instruments…the ukulele and double bass. As a duo, local traffic has performed at many private events, corporate events, and weddings.  Over the years, public appearances included places like O'Flaherty's Irish Pub in Downtown San Jose, Santana Row, and since 2010, weekly at Capers in Campbell. Whether it's Van Morrison, Train, Bruno Mars, The Beatles, or Steppenwolf…we love to play music and hope you like what you'll hear!

The Pearl Alley Band: Saturday October 24th @ 7pm

Pearl Alley has opened for the likes of Lydia Pense & Cold Blood, James Hunter & Canned Heat. Pearl Alley played throughout Santa Cruz, including Moe's Alley, Fog Bank and Seabright Brewery, for nearly 10 years until transitioning their "headquarters" to San Jose in 2011. They are now actively gigging in the Silicon Valley area.

Suzanne St. John sings with the power, rawness and presence of Janis Joplin. She was baptized into the blues in the late 90s, singing with Archie Lee Hooker in the Bay Area.

A dedicated guitarist since age thirteen, and music major in college, Dave's main passion in life has always been music, and hard-hitting blues was his calling.

With blues veterans Dennis Dove on drums, Doug Mancini on bass and Dave Pierce on keys, the band is a tight, smokin' and entertaining quintet... it's Black Crowes meets Janis Joplin. 

This collaboration has produced a debut cd with ten of their original tunes (available at cd baby), and they continue to write original blues. This CD was recorded, mixed, and produced by Dave, and many of the tracks were recorded at Dave and Suzanne's home studio.

“Divas of the Decades” is a show paying tribute to the female pop and rock vocalists that re-shaped music and touched all of our lives. Powered by our two “Divas” ~ Mary Ellen Duell and Amanda Dieck, you are guaranteed to be amazed when you see and hear them transform into : Madonna, Linda Ronstadt, Blondie, Pat Benatar, Gwen Stefani and Heart! The "Divas" back up band is "The Garage Band" which consists of some of the Bay Area's finest musicians, and has been pleasing audiences for over 2 decades.

The Megatones: Saturday, October 17th @ 7pm

After a few initial shows with the group the Extremes, Harry and friends Dick Sillman and Joe Bac formed the earliest incarnation of the Megatones, with drummer Pat Greene and bassist Dave Buchanan. Ken Stollman soon replaced Dave on bass, with Mike Wills joining on drums, and the band quickly established itself as one of the premier cover bands in the bay area, headlining big parties at the Hearst Castle and the Mark Hopkins Hotel SF, and playing innumerable shows at local clubs. Guitarist Mike Sult joined in 2004, creating the band's current lineup.
