The Funtouchables are the ultimate band for any party and have been a hit in the clubs around S.F and the Bay Area for many years. Their extensive song list includes surf classics including the Beach Boys and Jimmy Buffet, hits from the Beatles, Rolling Stones, and Stevie Wonder to name a few. If variety is what you looking for, The Funtouchables are the group for you! Comprised of some of the best musicians in the Bay Area, the Funtouchables blend three different “specialty bands” into one, covering songs from over seven decades!

Together for over 15 years, the band plays songs from the ’30’s to today’s contemporary hits. They not only sound convincingly like the originals, but also are great to watch as they combine dancing, comedy, exceptional musical ability and audience participation to make a fun and entertaining concert and dance. In 1993, the band (who also go by the name Shark Sandwich) won the top award for “the Best Unsigned Band in San Francisco” by Live 105 FM radio station.

Whether you want jazz standards, 50s, 60s, 70s disco, 80s, 90s or rock and roll, The Funtouchables will customize their play list and band size to your occasion. It’s no wonder that they are chosen for events time and time again. Members of the band have backed up or played in concert with: Chris Issak, Warren Zevon, Marshal Crenshaw, Chuck Berry, Frankie Avalon, Mary Wells, The Drifters, Jerry Lee Lewis, Suzanne Sommers, Ronnie Milsap, Ronnie Montrose, Ray Charles, The Marvelettes, The Harry James Orchestra, Wolfman Jack, The Platters, Maria Muldaur and Micky Hart to name a few.
