Casey Frazier is a talented songwriter, singer and guitarist with an eclectic Americana sound with roots in country and 70s rock. Casey was born in Missouri, grew up in a small mountain town near Denver, Colorado, and spent a reasonable amount of his adolescence in Nashville, Tennessee. Casey has recently relocated to the Central Coast of California in order to continue his songwriting and expand his West Coast presence. He has shown incredible talent and growth as an artist, with upwards to 150 songs, two full-length albums, two EPs and another album on the way. He spends his time between Nashville and California. He is hoping to start expanding his audiences by taking his albums live, as well as creating a more dynamic online and print-media presence.

Charged Particles combines three jazz virtuosos in an exciting collaboration of styles, genres, and sounds. Band mates Murray Low, Aaron Germain, and Jon Krosnick mix jazz with elements of Latin music, classical, funk, and other genres in close nit spontaneity. This group arranges their own original songs and give unique twists to classic jazz standards from Cole Porter, Duke Ellington, Richard Rogers, others.

Charged particles made its debut on NPR’s “Detroit Jazz Alive" program, and since then has performed at festivals and clubs around the country. They released their self-titled CD Charged Particles in 1994, and Sparks in 2002. Both CD’s have received national air play and international recognition. Charged Particles have even opened for national recording artists such as Stanley Jordan, Yanni, and Al DiMeola, and played with famous drummers Peter Erskine and Dennis Chambers.

The Commanders Jazz Ensemble ensures an evening of swinging classics and contemporary jazz for all ears. The group first began in 1959 within the North American Air Defense Command Band, later joining the Air Force Band of the Golden Gate in 1979 and reemerging as the Band of the Golden West.


The 18-piece big band is considered one of the finest of its kind on the West Coast, performing at Carnegie Hall, the Monterey Jazz Festival and the Redwood Coast Jazz Festival, as well as extensively touring the western US and appearing on numerous radio and television shows. The Commanders have performed with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and recorded music with Marvin Stamm, Steve Smith, Bob Hope, Walt Levinsky, Carl Saunders, and many other artists.

Sons of Jubal is a Silicon Valley Community Traditional Big Band composed entirely of volunteers, many of whom have a professional or semi-professional performance background.  As a Christian stage band, the group plays a variety of gospel, modern arrangements of hymns, contemporary praise music and traditional big band arrangements from the Big Band Era.
The name “Sons of Jubal” comes from Genesis 4:21, which says Jubal is the father of all musicians. Since its inception in June 2000, Sons of Jubal has performed at a wide variety of venues.  In addition to providing great entertainment, the group’s goal is to create opportunities that involve youth in their music program.

Post contemporary New York jazz saxophonist/composer Jacam Manricks will present music from his latest album Cloud Nine.  The unique sound of his music is represented through original works, which incorporate soulful melodies, sophisticated harmonies, elaborate orchestrations, and driving rhythms influenced by jazz, contemporary classical, and Latin music.


Manricks honed his ear listening to jazz and classical concerts from his parents. He took off with music lessons at age 5, and finished his education at the Manhattan School of Music in 2007. He has performed and/or recorded with some of the most prestigious international artists of our time, found at venues like the Jazz Standard, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and others. He has recorded four albums to date, and spends time composing works for different ensembles worldwide.
